Jeep Repair: 2004 Jeep GC Heated Seats, jeep grand cherokee, electric heating elements

Question
Had complete HVAC repair done (blend doors, recirc, heater core, etc). Involved complete dashboard removal. Heated seats do not work after job. Brought back and they said switches work and transmitting correct ohms, but was too warm for heating element to operate. It’s 65 degrees today and no heat.

Question: Could they have shorted and/or disconnected something to make inoperative.  Or is 65 degrees to warm to activate.  I seem to remember working last year in similar ambient temps.  Is this just a coincidence?

Appreciate your help!

Answer
when I do blend air doors  I dont disconnect the switches to the heated seats.
