QuestionThis vehicle power windows and gages work when they want.It started when I
replaced the printed circuit for the moon roof.Several days later the vehicle
would not start/it would start and die as if the anti theft system had been
activated.I tried everything I could think of had it towed home.I thought maybe
a loose wire in the headliner where i had been earlier?? No good.Then several
hours later it started and ran but the gages and windows do not. It still takes
spells gages and windows work at times but no bouts with start and die.The only
common denominator I can find is the bus power and ground in the ECM and BCM. I
am a technician but I am stumped on this one.No rhyme or reason
AnswerOk well if you are a technician then this may make some since to you. You didnt have any problems until you changed out that circuit for the moon roof. afterwards all hell is breaking loose. I would say remove that from the equation and replace with the old one... this should in theory solve the problem, and if it does try another circuit that one may be flawed from the factory, that does happen sometimes. I really hope thats all it is, I know its not a really technical answer but i think that is what you should do to fix the problem.
