Jeep Repair: 01 Cherokee 4.0L idle problem, emission control system, rubber boots

Question
Jeep will not idle at all. When I start it up I need one foot on the gas to keep it from stalling. Engine code reads "small leak in evaporaive emission control system" and  "target idle speed not reached." I checked the EECS lines from the canister to the intake manifold and replaced one of the rubber boots but the problem came back a couple days later. Will the canister leak, or should I look at the ISC or someplace else?

Answer
chk for vac leaks for the not running part  and just haft to look for the cracked lines from the front to the rear of the jeep  if U dont find any  U can take it to a shop where they should be able to test each part in the system  or replace them one by one yourself.
