Jeep Repair: 2001 grand cherokee limited, phillips head screws, grand cherokee limited

Question
What do i need to remove to replace a headlight kit

Answer
Hi Chuck,

I'm not too familiar with the Grand Cherokee...... give this a shot if you want to. Most likely all you'll need is the proper sized wrench or socket and a screw driver. First you'll want to remove the headlight bulb. Careful not to touch the bulb itself with your fingers or contaminate the glass with anything. This could lead to premature failure of the bulb. In the engine compartment you should find a bolt securing the headlight module to the radiator support panel near the rubber bumber for the hood. There may be some phillips head screws as well. Like I said, I'm not very familiar with the Grand but the headlight module mounting fasteners should be visible from the engine compartment. After removing the bolt(s) screws pull the module out and disconnect the electrical connector.

I hope this was helpful to you.
