Jeep Repair: leaking evaporator core, jeep cherokee sport, jeep cherokee

How hard is it to change the evaporator core on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4x4, with a 4.0? Is this something that I may do myself in my garage? Do you really have to take out the steering wheel?

how  hard something is would be relative to who u are and experience in the matter. If u ask me how hard it is to do one  I would say it would take me 4 hours to do it. I also have done 10 or more so I know what I am doing. Get a book and read what has to be done then u decide if u wanna take this on or let some one do it for u. And yes the steering wheel will need to come out.
