Jeep Repair: Door Trim Panel, torx screw, latch

I have a 1997 Wrangler with full doors.  I want to replace the interior handle/lock unit.  I started, but it seems it is not as simple as removing the one Torx screw that holds the handle unit on.  What is the proper way?

FULL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ACTUATOR
REMOVAL
Remove the torx screw attaching the inside handle to the door.
Carefully pull the handle from the door.
Disconnect the latch rods from the handle Inside Handle Actuator
INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
Connect the latch rods to the handle.
Position handle and seal in door.
Install the torx screw attaching the inside handle the to door.
