Jeep Repair: heater/blower, blower motor resistor, air doors

Question
Hi
I have a 2001 Jeep GC Limited with the dual zone heat.
Tuesday evening I had the heater working, then the blower shut off.  I turned the heater off then on, blower worked for 3-5 seconds then shut off. It did that 3-4 times.
When i headed to work the next day I could of sworn that there was not any heat along with the blower not working.
But I guess I'm not positive about that since last night and then this morning, I had heat but no blower.
Initially i had thought I would need to replace the blower motor, but after reading some Q & A. I am not so sure.

What do you think I should start with?

Answer
the blower motor resistor is burnt up and the connector on it as well there is a wire repair kit for the harness u can get at a dealer. Once repaired  if u dont get heat out of but one side  then u have blend air doors to which the dash and HVAC housing will need to come out and replaced. I do this on the side.
