Jeep Repair: 05 Jeep GC occasionally wont start, little red dot, fuse box

Question
QUESTION: Occasionally my 2005 Jeep GC Laredo wont start. When I turn the key, it sounds like it is going to start for about 1 second and then it is complete silence. After turning the key about 10 times one right after the other, I can finally get it to start. It has been at the dealership 4 times and they cant seem to find the problem. They replaced the starter and the issue is still occuring. They said they have tested my battery and alternator and they both seem to be fine. What could the issue be???

ANSWER: do u get fast clicks when u try and start it?

QUESTION: I dont really hear any clicking when I try to start it. The car never officially starts/runs...it never turns over. After turning the key 10 times it finally turns over and starts and runs fine. I read somewhere that it could be the fuel pump? Does that sound right?

ANSWER: not for an 05  i doubt it. DO u have a little red dot on the cluster light up when it wont start?  or a key symbol?

QUESTION: There is a red dot

Answer
I have a temp fix for u a dealer will need to see if there is a SKIM module issue. Look under your hood open the fuse box there will be a fuse called IOD  or in cased in plastic  not the yellow plastic. Unplug it for 30 seconds then plug it back in if the SKIM module just locked up then it should be able to start back up  if there is a deeper issue then u will need to visit a dealer  or if U live in ATlanta area I can look at it.
