Jeep Repair: 2000 TJ Intermittent A/C, clutch works, air fan

Question
QUESTION: My TJ A/C just cuts out while driving or sitting still. It usually comes back on within a minute or two. I checked and reseated all fuses and relays in the power distribution box and replaced the A/C clutch relay. No luck. Any ideas?

ANSWER: what part quits working  ???  the air   the cold air  or stops blowing through the vent that u want?

QUESTION: The entire A/C shuts off as if I turned off the switch. Even the fan-only positions will not turn the fan on.
ANSWER: why would u replace a ac clutch relay if the blower motor stopped working  is that what I am understanding that does not work??  if the fan is not working then u don't know if the air is cold or not  .

QUESTION: I replaced the clutch relay because when I was checking for any fuses that might affect the A/C, it started working when I was reseating fuses in the area for that relay. I now believe it wa a coincedence. Let's assume that I have done nothing and go from there. When it works, it works perfectly. Cold air, fan speeds, and all. Then it just stops. It usually starts working again within a few minutes without any action on my part. It doesn't matter whether the vehicle is moving or not.
ANSWER: ok hit the ign switch area see if that will jar it back to life.

QUESTION: No fan. It doesn't even work on the heat or vent positions. I can't hear the compressor running either. Again, it is like I turned off the switch, but clicking through the switch position doesn't make any difference. Turning it off and on doesn't matter ether.

Answer
ok we are not on the same page here. The inside fan is the only issue correct? It does not matter right now if the ac clutch works or not first issue first then others after this one. The blower motor will cut off and not work and then just work again a bit later correct?  Have u placed the blower motor on high and it works then?
