Jeep Repair: Jeep Liberty 2004 starts then quits, jeep liberty, throttle body

Question
QUESTION: I have a Jeep Liberty that I just purchased and it ran great until today.  I rode it today and it ran good.   Then my husband went to ride it to work, he started it and went to go out of the driveway and it quit.  He tried to start it several times but evertime it would start good then just quit.  I was wondering if you knew what could be the problem causing this.  I read it might be the CPS Sensor do you think this is the problem or something else?  Any help is appreciated. Thanks Kristy

ANSWER: low air flow to the throttle body.Sensors should have a check engine light turned on.

QUESTION: I appreciate your help but could the key have been the problem?  I had two keys made at home depot and we have used them just a few times.  They seemed to work good though.  My husband said that there was a little light on that looked like a key with it crossed out.   Does this sound like it could have been the problem?  I tried the factory key and it seems to work fine.  I am just worried I will get out somewhere and it not start.   Any help is appreciated.  Thanks Kristy

Answer
hehe  yeah that little bit of info will fix your car   U have a factory gray key dont u?   U will need to get them programed to your car  if u dont thy will shut down the car for good after 3 tries. A dealer will program them for u. U might need to have 2 more keys cut and programed
