Jeep Repair: no reverse or license plate light., cherokee sport, broken wires

Question
The back up lights on my 92 cherokee sport are not working and neither is the license plate light... could these be related? I don't know if it has anything to with it, but the tail lights weren't working either but I was able to fix that ( the ground was loose). I checked the ground on the reverse lights and they seemed fine. any ideas?

sounds like broken wires on both ckts. Each one is different  I dont see a common place for them  I am only looking on a diagram power is not the same  ground is not the same  but i bet if u dig around u will find a broken wire some where more then likely the same place for both.
