My jeep is having a few problems.  The overdrive light keeps coming on, and it makes my jeep very sluggish in first and second gear.  It is an automatic.  sometimes the light goes off and the jeep runs like a champ, all gears work great.

Sounds like there is a problem in the transmission, you need to go have the transmission codes pulled with a scan tool.  You will probably have to take this one to a dealer or transmission shop to diagnose the problem.  The overdrive light is telling you, "you have a problem".  Hope you get it fixed!
