Jeep Repair: 97 jeep wrangler, 4.0 m/t, fuel pump relay, jeep wrangler

after driving my jeep for a awhile ( like 30 miles down the highway) and i come to a stop my jeep wont idle, it sputters out and dies... sometime it restarts right away other times it takes 10 plus trys... i replaced the plugs wries cap and rotor, and this semmed to help just barely... i flashed the fault codes and there is no faults.... thanks

I would take a look at the fuel pump, it could be getting hot and quit working until it cools.  See if you can rent or borrow a fuel pressure gauge, it screws onto a schrader valve on the fuel injector rail, when it acts up check the pressure, if there is none, first check the fuel pump relay, you may be able to swap it out for a like relay in your relay panel.  If the relay is good, you most likely have a failed fuel pump.  Hope I could help you!
