Jeep Repair: grinding noise, cluch, machanic

When driving my 98 tj 2.5l i hear a grinding noise
when I engage the clutch going into 3rd gear.
It happens somtimes,when I let of the gas I also hear the noise.

Mark, it seems that you have blow your third geer.  Bring your jeep to a machanic and get a new transmtion and make sure you engage the cluch all the way before you shift the gears from now on. Not engaging the cluch can snap the gears so make sure you do that from now on okay.
