Jeep Repair: Clutch linkage 1997 wrangler, clutch linkage, jeep owners

My clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there.  On inspection it appears that the the linkage has come apart there also appears to be a small plastic cage that holds it together.  is there a better way to do this?  Do you have a drawing showing how the pedal assembles to the rod that goes to the hyd. cylinder?

Is there a better way, not that I know of.  Jeep engineered it that way and it seems to work pretty good for the vast majority of Jeep owners.
Yes I have a drawing of the pedal assembly but there is no way of getting it to you on this website.
My suggestion would be to purchase a Jeep manual from most any auto parts store.  They would have the diagrams you need.
