Jeep Repair: jeep grand cherokee A/C & cruse control, jeep grand cherokee, cruse control

Question
I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee that was involved in a minor accident and the front fenders were damaged only minor. the veh was repaired and now the a/c works fine at idle only, its blowing out of the top vents at idle then  under acceleration the air changes and blows out of the defroster and this keep going on as i drive it keeps jumping between defroster and top vents.

Also the cruise control is acting up when i set it at say 65mph it locks in at between 63-67mph
also when the cruies is set at say 65 mph and i slow down to 30mph and use the resume function it doesn't TAKE-OFF and get back up to speed fast it would take about a minute literally to accelerate 35mph.

I was thinking it was a vacuum  leak but someone said that there is a climate control part in one of the fenders.
i have a chiltons manual but it doesnt explain everything, they have a test that shows  the trouble codes but that is for digital climate control my jeep has manual knobs just 3 fan, temp, zone.
also it is a straight 6 engine

Answer
It's impossible to tell over the internet exactly what damage was caused by a wreck but it's obviously more than you thought.  It sounds to me like the heater housing was warped by the impact and is binding the divertor door (or something like that).
I have no idea why your cruise control is acting up but it sounds like the servo on the engine is malfunctioning and needs replacing.
