Jeep Repair: battery, cable problem, battery cable

I have placed a new battery in my jeep after I thought it was dead, know after I turn the key off the inside lights come on?  Whats wrong?

The problem could be one of many and the only real way of narrowing the field down is to have a mechanic take a look at exactly what is happening and when.
You could have a keyswitch problem, a battery cable problem, or about anything in between problem.
