Jeep Repair: ignition, cherkee, key switch
QuestionI have a 1984 cherkee,that had set up for a while a few weeks ago the ignition would stick at the end and get really hard to turn it finally rolled all the way over one day well i changed lock cylinder what should i do next?
AnswerI had a hard time finding a question here. If you are asking if something is wrong with your key switch, if it sticks or turns too far, I would guess there is. The key switch is only one third of an ignition switch: the key switch at the top of the steering column, a rod down the middle connecting to the actual ignition switch at the bottom of the steering column. One or more of these could be causing a problem, have a mechanic check it out.
