Land Rover Repair: Transmission message

Question

Transmission console p   Getting transmission message on console.  How do I troubleshoot this?  Please see attached pic.  It is on a 2006 Range Rover.

You will connect the Land Rover diagnostic system, and turn the key on and start the tester.  Identify the vehicle and select full system scan.  It will return a summary of all systems with faults.  Look to the appropriate systems (transmission and controls) and see what information is given.  Proceed as directed, based on the test results.

If you don't have access to a LR test system you will need to find a shop who does, and who is trained in its use.  They will also need familiarity with the necessary repair processes, whatever they turn out to be
