Question
Land Rover Repair: lr3 crash, land rover lr3, greenwich ct
wheel misalignment
On the last snow storm on 1/21/2012, I was driving my land rover lr3 2007. The vehicle slid sidewise and bumped a street curbside. As a result the right rear wheel is now not aligned, as it is bent as if it was turning to the right. The suspension seems to be working fine.
Please take a look at the pictures. Can I get an estimation related with the repair?
Right now it is not safe to drive in this condition, so the vehicle would need to be picked up at my home in Byram, Greenwich CT.
Thank you,
Horacio Aliaga

Answer
Clearly something in the rear suspension is bent;  We'd have to dismantle and measure the pieces to know what needs replacement and what could be straightened.  That's what will determine cost.  Your photo does not give enough information.  As to bringing it in . . . I'd guess the cost to pick your vehicle is in the vicinity of $250.  If you'd like to do that, please call our service manager Maribeth White, at 413-785 1665
