1997 land rover discovery ls I changed the fuse for the radio and it will not work it says COOE where the station is.

Hi Thomas,

you will need to enter the security code to unluck the radio.  If you do not know this code, contact your local LR dealership and they will get if for you.  

If you cannot enter the code, it may be that the security system has locked you out and you will have to reset the entry program.  To do this, you will need to leave your radio on and the ignition key in position II (best to go for a nice long drive (with the radio ON ) for about an hour.  Then you can try to enter the 4 digit radio code again.  Remember, every time you enter the wrong code, the time delay to re-enter the code takes longer until it locks you out again...so make sure you enter the code correctly!

There are rare instances that the radio becomes inoperable.  I heard from owners who've had to replace the radio because it would not accept the correct code.  If that is your problem, you could try some of these shops:
