Land Rover Repair: Cruise Control, range rover p38, vacuum lines

Question
I have a Range Rover P38 1998.  The cruise control switch lights off, but nothing happens when I press the buttons on the steering wheel and the cruise control does not activate.

Any thoughts?

Very grateful for your time.

yours sincerely,

Chris

Answer
90% of cruise control problems are broken vacuum lines, either under the hood or under the dash around the brake pedal safety switch.  Look carefully and I'll bet you will find one or more lines with split ends.

Good luck!
