Land Rover Repair: freelander 2 ltr diesel 51 plate, viscous coupler, wheel rotation

Question
Changed prop support bearings couple of thousand miles ago present mileage 104000.  Since then have experienced vibration at around 50-55mph.  As a result a bearing type noise has developed from what appears to be under the centre counsel. Is louder when moving slower in gear and decreases with speed. Bearing type noise is now very loud and is evident with road wheel rotation and not engine related. Can you please advise what would cause the vibration, would an IRD overhaul kit solve this problem.

Answer
My first thought is that something was done wrong in the first repair.  Or maybe you fixed he wrong bearing.  It's possible that the viscous coupler is failing as you suggest in your question about an IRD overhaul kit but I suspect the bearings, not the coupler
