Land Rover Repair: 94 Disco front running lights not working, jockey box, flasher relay

Question
1994 Disco 171,000 miles.  My front running lights are not working.  (Rear running lights work fine and hazards work fine.)  Front turn signals work fine but simply no electrical current to same turn turn signal/running light plug for running lights when tested.  All fuses are good. When I turn on the running light switch, the dash, jockey box, and rear running lights work normal.  I tried to find any grounds in engine bay for electrical wires.  Found one bank of electrical wires grounded near battery on right wheel well.  So I cleaned it just in case a ground for running lights was in there but still no luck.  I even had a new Lucas flasher relay that I changed out but no luck.  Thanks for your help!

Answer
The switch could be bad, or the fuse box junctions, even the sockets in front.  You should get a factory electrical troubleshooting manual (which you can buy in print form from places like Rovers North or download for a fee from www.landrovertechinfo.com ) and follow the circuit.  Luckily for you, there are no computers involved; just wire, switches, connectors and lights.
