Land Rover Repair: HELP!!!!!, distributer cap, generic service

Hi John, i own a 1996 Discovery SE7, at the moment it seems to not be running on all cylinders, i have replaced plugs & leads, distributer-cap, rotor button & put some injector cleaner in her,none of this has seemed to help, Any ideas...Thanx, have a great X-mas...Craig

Find a shop with an ignition scope (it's a generic service tool) and see where it misses.  Find out if it's an ignition miss or a fuel miss.  Take the indicated steps . . . maybe you need a new injector, or have some other issue.  The procedure to diagnose fuel injection - if that is your trouble - requires only a hand held meter and is available in the factory workshop manuals.
