Land Rover Repair: 2002 Landrover Freelander, landrover freelander, would appreciate your feedback

I took my daughters 2002 Landrover Freelander into Jiffy lube because the Check engine light came on. The error codes he came up with were: P1319, P0304, and P1472. I called Landrover service and they said the 1st 2 codes were misfise codes and the last one had something to do with a possible stuck variable valve. He said that I would have to replace the intake manifold. Is there not a way to repair the stuck valve and 2 other items? I read something on the Internet that there is a kit you can purchase from Landrover. I would appreciate your feedback on this matter. THANK YOU!

You can purchase a repair kit for the variable intake valves but much of the time you need a whole manifold.  Try the kit if you want, but it's just trash if you end up changing the manifold because the kit is non returnable at that point.  I'd say the same as the dealer.  As to the misfire - start with plugs and coils.
