Land Rover Repair: RR problem, pressure valves, cold weather

Question
Hi
I have 04 RR HSE, the message says Air susp inactive, and the button which Up and down don't work, lights of it all off.

Last night was very cold and i thought COLD weather made something... Please help me

Answer
Hi Uuganaa,

I don't think it is the temperature that caused this problem.

Do you see "AIR SUSP.INACTIVE MAX 40 mph" in your message centre?

Could be the compressor has overheated and failed.  Air suspension calibration and repressurization is performed by a LR Testbook - a dealer device.

It could be other components too, like a height sensor failure, pressure valves, the ECU for air suspension or airbag leakage.  Only a dealer Testbook can determine where the fault lies.

Uuganaa,

the Testbook revealed that the Air Suspension was on HOT TEMPERATURE MODE? Interesting.
I am only aware of a temperature sensor within the compressor and it is there to monitor how hot the compressor gets during usage.  When a certain temperature is reached, the compressor shuts off.

As I mentioned in my oringinal response, only the Testbook can determine where the fault was.  I was right about that.
