Land Rover Repair: Tire Change (2003 Land Rover Discovery), land rover world, land rover discovery

Question
I'm new to the Land Rover world and a first time owner.  A tire shop told me that I needed to disconnect or disable the airbag suspension in order for a tire to be changed to prevent damage to the airbags. How do you manually disable the suspension?  Were they correct?  Help!?!?!?

Thank you

Answer
There is no way to do that.  Just put a jack under the axle and raise the vehicle that way to change tires.  What the tire store is afraid of is the risk of an air bag coming apart if you dangle the wheels on a lift.  I sugest you avoid that for the same reason.
