Land Rover Repair: Range Rover Sport Sun (Moon) Roof, range rover sport, rr service

Question
I have a 2007 RR Sport. The Sun Roof rattles and also when it rains, there is water in the track above the headliner along the sun roof on both sides. The RR Service tells me that is normal, the sun roof will leak, the track catches the water and drains it away. Is this accurate? It seems bizarre that a high end vehicle will leak. Also, how can I stop the rattles?

I own the same vehicle, and my experience is similar, though I was able to adjust the roof so it only leaks under a direct water jet, like in a car wash.  It's ok in rain.  What you describe is certainly a recognized issue but perhaps it can be managed a bit better than your dealer has done so far.
