Land Rover Repair: 2002 Land Rover Disco SE - ABS and other warning lights, vehicle warranty, mass pike

Son has 2002 Land Rover Disco SE with ABS and other warning/failure lights on (also happened in October 08 but was under used vehicle warranty at time).  Is this indicative of a ABS module failure?  Can they be rebuilt as I understand new is quite $$$. From out of town - any recommendation of repair shops in Boston area?  Thanks!

The only way to tell what has failed in the ABS is to connect an Autologic or T4 test system and check it out.  Anything else is just a guess.  

As to the ABS module . . . there is a $900 repair kit to fix the $2200 unit.  So yes, those are available.

As to service near Boston - our company, Robison Service, is an hour and fifteen minutes from the Newton Tolls on the Mass Pike.  Were in Springfield.  413 785 1665.
