Land Rover Repair: LR Discovery coolant leak, blown head gasket, intake manifold gasket

Question
Hi John.

The coolant in my land rover is running straight through and leaking somewhere on the driver's side of the vehicle.  Is it a blown head gasket or can it (please) be something less expensive?

Best regards,
Maureen

Answer
It could be anything - a broken hose, a leaking intake manifold gasket, a head gasket. Your first step should be to pressurize the cooling system and see where coolant is leaking.  Any skilled Land rover technician should be able to look and identify the leak.
