Land Rover Repair: 2001 disco transmission linkage, driveshafts, tows

my 2001 disco was recently towed and the trannie linkage was disconnected is this something that will just snap back into place or will i needd to buy new parts

Answer
I have no idea what may have been disconnected.  There is no reason that the transmission linkage woudl be disconnected for towing.  For flat tows, you remove the driveshafts.

Whoever disconnected the linkage should put it back the way they found it, and you should be fine.
