Land Rover Repair: P38 Range Rover 1996, p38 range rover, wont move

Question
Please Help
I have just purchased a 1996 P38 Range rover and upon getting it home i noticed neither front electric seats are operating at all.  All electric mirrors, windows and all other devices are fine its just the seats wont move.  The motors dont even seem to click.  Do you have any suggestions
Regards
Neal

Answer
I'm sorry to tell you that the seats are controlled by the body computer, located under the passenger front seat.  That computer only talks to the specialist Land Rover test systems.  There's little you can do to check it out at home other than checking the fuses.
