Land Rover Repair: Land Rover, land rover discovery, fuse box

Question
When I turn my headlights on the windsheild wipers come on and it sprays my headlights.  Have to drive with windshield wipers on at night. It is a 1998 Land Rover Discovery.  Please help.

The head lamp washer function is activated via a module called the multi function unit located in the passenger fuse box below the steering column. The unit is easy to replace and just plugs in, if there are no other electrical problems you can remove the fuse #2 20amp which is located in the satelite fuse box in the passenger fuse box location below the steering wheel.
