Land Rover Repair: Ignition problem with the 2000 landrover dico SII, steering wheel, occurence

I parked my car last night while wheels turned right and this morning the key seems to be sticking and would not turn. I tried to put a little grease on it so key now is going in and out and beeping sounds comes on when key is in but cannot turn it. Transmission is in park and steering is locked. I have checked the fuses and relays. I have open the center console and took out al the coins that were in the gear compartment are but still no movement. I unhooked the brake pedal switch and tested it by pressing but no response. Can you please advise what cold be wrong and how to fix it. Thank you in advance.

It sounds to me like you have pressure on the steering lock.  It is a normal occurence if the steering is locked on the curb at a tight angle, thus, putting pressure on the steering lock.  You need to hold pressure on the steering wheel, turning it further towards the right, while wiggling the key.
