Land Rover Repair: Fan belt tensioner 1996 Discovery, fan belt, belt tensioner

Question
Hey buddy, we have just had the fan belt on our 1996 discovery come apart.  We have purchased a new belt and routed it but can't seem to find an adjustment to A: Get the belt on, and B:  Tension the belt.

It is the turbo 4 cyl automatic transmission.  I have looked on the alternator, power steering etc to find some adjustmet screw but have had no luck.

Your help would be appreciated

Dan

Answer
Sorry if I'm not a lot of help on this . . . we don't have that engine here in the states.  On our motors the belt is tensioned by a spring-loaded tensioner.  You pop it down with a bar, slip the belt over the roller and you're done.

I would not be surprised if your motor had something similar
