Land Rover Repair: land rover starting issues, land rover discovery, vacuum problem

Question
have a 01 land rover discovery when trying to start it will turn over but it's not catching.then it will start but have to wait at least 1 hr before it will restart.getting codes P1150, P1690, and P1230 recently replaced raditator and plugs

Answer
Hi Stevie,

how old are those codes?  Could be result of combustion or vacuum problem.  Why did you replace the rad?  Did you make sure the headgasket is in good condition?  Was a pressure test performed on cooling system?  How about a cylinder test?  Could you have a blown headgasket?  Questions you have to ask yourself and perhaps a local garage.

Best of luck,
