service engine light on have to warm up for about 5 min before it will move without coughing and sputtering while driving acts like it has a govern on it step on it dosent axcelerate like it should

Hi James,

take it to a local garage or Advance Auto parts and ask to have the OBDII code read.  Advance Auto does this as a customer service perk for free.

This will give you a better idea on where to look.

Could be a number of sensors, fuel temp, crankshaft position, mass airflow.... get the code(s) and hopefully it will narrow the search down.  Respond here with an update and I'll do my best to help.
