Land Rover Repair: 1995 land rover discovery, land rover discovery, computer faults

Hello, I took my 95 disco to a authorized service station today and in the diagnostic he said that my computer was giving off 22 many errors and that my check engine light did not come on which also indicates a problem with my ecu.  He said that my computer was bad and has to be replaced.  Is this good advice?  1995 Land Rover Discovery 136000 miles on it

If your statements are accurate then I think you need a second opinion.  I have never heard of a 1995 Land Rover with 22 computer faults.  It's not even possible.

A 2006 Range Rover with 25 computers might have that many faults, but a 1995 Discovery . . . no way.
