Land Rover Repair: Protecting my new Rover, rear cargo area, rear tailgate

Question
I found and purchased a mid-Atlantic one owner (early)1990 Range Rover this weekend. I Couldn't find rust anywhere. Not under the front carpets, spare wheel well, tailgates, or on any components in the engine bay. So my question is what should I do to keep the rover in its current condition? On my last Range Rover the front floors, the lower rear tailgate and the areas to its sides, and the rear cargo area were rusting away when I bought the car.
