Land Rover Repair: Water pump replacment, fan clutch, blow torch

Question
I am replacing the water pump of my discovery 1 /1999.
I am having a very hard time detaching the fan clutch from the old pump. Have relased the belt and drenched the 36mm nut in penetrating oil. Also have heated the nut with a blow torch but still does not moove. I am appling a straight 36mm wrench unscrewing counter clock wise looking from the from of the viscous clutch.
Am I wrenching the coupling in the right direction? Is this nut regularly treathed or is it clockwise looking from the front? My land rover has uses a flat belt.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Bill,

Here's the LR workshop answer:

NOTE: Nut securing viscous unit to water pump has a right hand thread. Release by turning anti-clockwise when viewed from front of viscous unit.

The torque is 56NM ... or at least it was.   :)

Best of luck,
