Land Rover Repair: Fuel Pump/ Electrical problem???, air flow meter, crank sensor

Question
after not havebeen moved for about 4 months my land rover started, ran for about 5 minutes then turned off, i didnt know what to do so i left it at a gas station, the next day it started again then did the same thing after a couple of blocks. i replaced the fuel pump and it started once, i turned it off and it never turned back on again, now i think it might be that the fuel pump is not getting any power... my Lansd Rover is a Discovery, 2000, runs on normal gasoline, not diesel... ive checked the cut off switched and it doesnt seem to be the problem, all the fuses also seem to be working.... any advice???

Answer
Start by checking for spark.  If there is no spark, replace the crank sensor.  If there is spark, check the fuel pressure with a fuel gauge.  If you can't check the fuel pressure spary some easy start into the air flow meter.  If it starts, check for continuity at the fuel pump.  If there is no continuity, have the security code relearned from the ECU.  If there is continuity, replace the fuel pump.
