Land Rover Repair: Freelander TD4 3 door 2003, water ingress, rear storage

I am getting water in the rear section of my Freelander in the storage security locker. The locker is soaked but the rear carpet behind the seat is dry. I cannot find any obvious holes under the body . Can you advise?  Thanks.

There is a 12 page TSB put out by Land Rover about water ingress on this vehicle.  You can order it from Alldata or Mitchell.  It is too involved to go into the various service procedures here, but it does discuss discuss the water ingress in the rear storage compartment.
