Land Rover Repair: Spark Plug Wires, failure rate, air injection

I need to change my plug wires on a 1999 Discovery II i have the land Rover Shop manual for this model however it only address the coils and plugs. There is not much clearance dose the upper intake need to come off for this repair?

It is a lot easier to do if you take off the upper intake, especially if you have sceondary air injection.  I would also change the coils while you have the upper intake off as there is a high coil failure rate and it is a pain to take the upper intake off.
