Land Rover Repair: 2003 land rover disco transmission, atf dexron, dexron iii

by any chance would you know what kind of transmission fluid i would put in a 03 disco? i recently put in 80-90 gear oil will that damage my transmission?

Your Disco needs ATF Dexron III.  

Gear oil is not right and will likely kill your transmission, you should tow it to a transmission specialist IMMEDIATELY.  

I can't guarantee it will cause damage but it's definitely not good for for your trans.  A tow is cheaper than a new transmission.
