Land Rover Repair: 2003 Range Rover, jumper cables, dead battery

Question
I recently changed my alternator in my 2003 range rover. But the battery light is still on. After about two weeks the car will not start at all. The car starts when I give it a jump start but vehicle shakes and then shuts off once the jumper cables are removed. Additionally, when i put the car in drive and step on the gas, no power is being delivered to the wheels...I heard there is something up with Fuse37 and no power given to wheels. Any suggestions. Or should I just head straight to the dealership.

Answer
Fuse 37 should be removed at all times.  This puts the transfer case in neutral, so it will not drive.  It is only typically only used when you are towing the vehicle.

It sounds like you still have a bad alternator.  Make sure when you install the new alternator, the battery is fully charged.  A completely dead battery will ruin a new alternator.
