Land Rover Repair: adding on, heating elements, automatic garage

Hi. I was wondering. I own a disco 2 2004, S model. Can i add some of the amenities that the SE and HSE have besides the heated seats? Such as: navigation,automatic garage opener, etc. ? Thanks

You can add those thinngs but it's quite a bit of work and the parts will be costly.  If you go to www.landrovertechinfo.com you can read the remove and refit procedures for all those items adn you'll get an idea what you'd have to do.

Basically, you have to add all the parts for each option.  For heated seats, you'd have to add the heating elements to the seats, then add the switches, and possible some wire harness elements.  You'd have to see what iring was present in your truck and go from there.

Same with the different radio/nav - you'd have to swap the radio, add the nav unit, and add the wire harness as needed
