Land Rover Repair: 2005 Range Rover HSE Brakes, range rover hse, steering damper

John, quick question. At 33,000 miles, I had front and rear brake pads and sensors replaced with original Range Rover parts. Now at 36,000 mileswhen I apply brakes at low speeds I get a bad shake in the steering wheel, like a shudder. When its raining, seems to be ok. This is not a minor shake it is a visable shake to steering wheel. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks  Gary

Hi Gary,

may be you are in need of new shocks.  I had this with my older Disco and thought it was the steering damper.  Replaced damper but the problem remained.  Replaced shock absorbers and problem was solved.

Could thie be your case?
