Land Rover Repair: Post-Oxygen Sensor Replacement, o2 sensors, oxygen sensor

Question
recently, my check engine light came on so i had my '01 disco series II diagnosed and it turned our that both rear o2 sensors needed to be changed so i ordered a pair of rear sensors and put them in myself. Hoping not to see the check engine light, i started the rover to find the light still on. i waited a while and drove it around the block, but still the light stayed on. What should i do?

also, a few times now, randomly but sometimes when i braked really hard, the ABS and TC lights came on. does this have anything to do with the sensor problem?

Answer
The light will remain on for 5-6 drive cycles, up to a few hundred miles, after a problem is fixed.  If it stays on beyond that, there's probably some other issue.

On the other lights . . .you'll need to find a Land Rover scan tool to check what's going on there
