Land Rover Repair: Rotate tires, 2005 range rover, service writer

Question
I was told today by my service writer that Rover recommends that I NOT rotate
my tires on my 2005 Range Rover. Is this true?

Answer
In the United States, Rover tells their dealers not to rotate tires.  Elsewhere in the world, the word is the opposite.  LR USA advises against many things that are done in other countries.  IMO they do this to minimize the chances of getting sued.

IMO, your tires will last longer if rotated.  But if you do it wrong and one comes off, you'll have a problem.
